This bacon won the National Dry-Cured Bacon Championship ‘A Cure for Modern Times’ title 2008.

Since winning this title it has proven to be our Best Selling Product.
We use our own recipe of herbs and spices during the curing followed by a further curing in Black Treacle. The bacon is then hung to dry before slicing.

The whole process takes several weeks but the results are worth waiting for. Once tried you may be hooked as many of our local customers in Windermere have discovered.

Treacle bacon makes a fantastic sandwich but could equally be used to wrap around fish or Chicken.
It was featured on ‘The Alan Titchmarsh Show’ in February 2008.
